A decade of medieval magic will be celebrated at the fantastic Feast of St Pancras May Fayre which returns to Lewes Priory Park on Sunday May 20 2018 (so you can enjoy the Royal wedding the day before and still come to the Fayre). It’s Southover Bonfire Society’s 10th year of fun for all the family and this year we have some fabulous new attractions joining our favourites including none other than Attila The Stockbroker and his barnstormers and a pack of huskies to cuddle up to. There’s music and bonkers games to test your skills including smashing crockery, rolling swedes, splatting rats and tossing chickens to win some great prizes. Or if you fancy swinging high in the sky then our popular Victorian swingboats are back again. Princess Aura will tell your fortune, we’ve got storytellers and craftspeople and you can watch fearsome re-enactors Swords of Albion and Spears of Andred show off their battling expertise in the arena. There’s loads of food and drink – from delicious fish and chips and wood fired pizzas to stalls with hard-to-resist culinary delights. Feel free to dress up for the day in medieval garb and look out for the chance to join our march to the Fayre from Lewes town centre. Entry is just £2.50 and kids under 12 go free. The fun takes place from 10.30am until 4pm. Entry via Cockshut Road, Southover, Lewes, BN7 1HP. Close to Lewes railway station too.
