| What does this role/roles involve? |
Clearing the used torches at the rear of ranks, making sure the road is clear as we go. It’s hot hard work, unrewarding and mostly unloved, but myself and a few amazing smugglers, know it’s a job that has to be done, and work our arses off every 5th. My team are all SBS heroes to me. |

Marshal and torch team helping Charlie. |
| What do you most love about your role/s? |
Charlie in the front, handing out the torches, and I’m at the back clearing them up, father & son team. |
